Alhamdulillah that day I finally done with my reading on Pelukis Jalanan written by Teme Abdullah.

I read twice the book to make this review and if can, I also intended to be the person who will deliver about this book's content during bibliophilia. InsyaAllah if I have the will.

Bak kata Saiful Nang, buku ni menceritakan satu simbol ketekunan yang original..

Budak Tomato pulak cakap dia berjaya habiskan buku ni tak sampai masa sehari. Intriguing. Pengalaman itu priceless. You cannot buy it as everyone do not feel the way and what you feel.

Ustaz Ad dien kata, buku ni sesuai untuk jadi penguat motivasi untuk pelajar-pelajar yang sedang menuntut ilmu dan belajar kenal erti susah demi menimba ilmu.

Aku paraphrase je cakap-cakap diorang ni.

My review tentang buku ni, well, susah nak cakap. And yes, you should get this book. Tak kisah la beli ke, pinjam kawan ke, as long as you read this book. I am just suggesting, hehe suit yourself la kids.

Teme. Seorang pelajar pintar. Belajar peringkat A-level. Architecture. Dan akan melanjutkan pelajaran ke luar negara jika dia berjaya mendapat result yang ditetapkan oleh institusi tersebut.

Since Teme ni acah pious and religious sangat masa tu (Sorry Teme, ayat macam improper), dia pun belajar dgn tak serius nya. Sbb dia rasa buat apa nak belajar semua bnda yg tak de kena mengena dgn architecture. Like what the hell, chemistry? Maths? Huh?

Unfortunately, 2 months before he got the final exam, dia baru tersedar dia terlambat. He didn't know what's gotten into him though that time and start revising hard for his exams. It is possible yet nearly to impossible. Eventually, he didn't get to full the institution's requirements. But thank God, he still can make rayuan if he want to.

Konflik punya konflik.
Dugaan demi dugaan.
Cubaan serta cubaan.

Akhirnye, he made it. He went to UK to further his studies. And guess what, he paid the university fee by himself. How independent! On the day he enrolled, he couldn't pay full for the fees and can't find a place to stay and staying at his friend's instead for a while la.

He worked at Kebab Shop at night to survive. And because to pay the university fee, he at that time only have 0 in his bank account. Can you imagine that, living in a foreign country without family to help you out? This guy is so something!

So everyday, Teme puasa and hanya makan nasi berlaukkan telur serta sedikit garam utk menambah rasa. He worked and studied at the same time. He's an architecture student! How the hell la he got to manage his time wisely. I'm so jelly, I couldn't do it. YET.

One day, he got cheated by his own teammates. How sad. And he had to repeat his study during summer and it saddens him. Of course la, how can he find money to pay other fees, with a-repeat-year lagi. Oh God. Then, kawan Teme, Si Ahmad ni, bagi la kata-kata semangat kat Teme.

"Kau ada tangan, kau ada mata dan kau ada kaki. Cukup apa yang manusia normal ada. Duduk termenung tanpa buat apa-apa tak akan selesaikan apa-apa."

"Aku tahu aku 'budak scholar', ada pihak bagi aku biasiswa. Tapi kenapa Allah letak masalah ni dalam hidup kau? Adakah sebab Allah nak musnahkan kau? Tak, weh."

"Teme, Allah letak kau dalam situasi ni sebab Dia tahu kau mampu. Kau bukan 'biasa-biasa', Teme. Kalau tak, kau tak dapat scholarship dulu. Kau ada otak. Aku kenal kau, kau tak mudah putus asa."

How motivating me. Really. That time. Yeah, so if you have problems, face them. Try to find the solution. If not you, who else? We gotta step forward dude. Yesssss that's the spirit. Wake up wake up.

Then, he started melukis di Jalanan.. People attracted sgt dgn lukisan Teme. Lukisan Teme, bagi Teme hanya biasa biasa saja. Tapi bagi orang yg tiada bakat macam Teme, dah cukup utk mengagumkan mereka dgn lukisan kau Teme. Bersyukur sikit. Not everyone has the talent like you have. You note that.

Dgn bakat tulah, Teme earn his living by selling his drawings to people who want it. It's worth it. He did it. Finally, he got to move from his previous place and stay with Ahmad at another new place. Sweet. :) Teme now popular and well known kat Instagram, Twitter and now have his own book! Pelukis Jalanan.

I know I'm not good to give a review about this book. It is my first time though. So, konklusi yg aku dpt drpd buku ni ialah, Pengalaman. Pengalaman tak bole dijual beli. Pengalaman sangat berharga. Pengalaman mengajar kau macam macam benda, ketabahan, kepayahan, kesungguhan dan tak kenal erti putus asa.

Review ni dari sudut pandangan aku. Kalau kau orang ade pandangan, bole je share dgn aku. Aku nak jugak baca pendapat bernas kalian. Aku baru belajar beb. Okay, nah quote Teme,

"Jika diberi peluang berpatah balik masa, perbetulkan semuanya, mengelak kegagalan berlaku, dan hidup dengan selesa, aku akan memilih untuk tidak lakukannya. Kerana pengalaman inilah anugerah bernilai Allah kepada aku."
